Whilst getting our feedback we noted everything we need to look at to improve our concept. Here's the mindmap we created:
After our first idea, we have thought of instead of having one monster, we could get all band members to keep appearing wearing different costumes, for example a bunny or clown. We then had been suggested to look at the music video I Don't Care, by Fall Out Boy, where each band member starts causing trouble to random people on the streets, and then by the end of the video, the members remove their face mask to reveal them to be a different celebrity. We have discussed this idea and think its a better storyline than what we had before.
After looking at that aspect of the band members, we then went on to the storyline where someone brought up the idea of the film Shrooms after we mentioned the story could be based on drugs. The idea was to have the band slightly psycho at Night Time dressed up in costumes murdering the people they come across. We then linked the idea of having their instruments turn into the weapons they use, for example the microphone cable could be turned into rope, or the drum sticks could turn into a baseball bat.
We're still discussing this idea as we think that this would be a bit too psycho for a music video.
