Multiclip Editing Demo

Today we experimented with using multiclip editing on Final Cut Pro. This is a feature on Final Cut Pro where you can switch between several different clips and edit them live whilst listening to the track, this is such a good feature because it allows you to edit loads of different shots easily with just one click of the mouse. This feature only works when editing performance shots as you won't be able to mix narrative video because you will need to use a string of different shots not the same ones. But this can work when creating a performance and narrative or performance and conceptual video type because you get the frame work of the performance side and then you can delete sections or replace them the desired shots. We found this feature a little tricky to work at the beginning but then once we had the hang of it we would then edit to our hearts content. We also took this as a chance to sample some of the effects on Final Cut and to see if they could enhance our music video or not.
